You will find TEN Pilates Studio nestled on the mezzanine of a beautiful building in the historic district of downtown Walla Walla, layered between a bakery and a dance studio! What could be more perfect?
The quaint and tidy studio is exclusively equipped with Balanced Body machines and equippment. There are two reformers, a Cadillac, and a Wunda Chair. Currently you will find all levels of students at the studio: beginners who are just venturing into their Pilates journey, to advanced level students who have been committed to Pilates for decades. The atmosphere of the studio is fun, warm, and encouraging. Everyone is welcome!
All of the machines used in Pilates are resistance based with a series of differently weighted springs. This is what makes Pilates an extremely flexible system with an infinite amount of exercises. Our studio currently has one of each machine: Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair. Modifications to the exercises allow for a degree of difficulty ranging from beginner to advanced making workouts safe for anyone, even those rehabbing from injuries or those battling chronic illness. Individuals are able to perform the exercises at their current fitness level and increase the intensity as body conditioning improves. All workouts are personalized for individual needs. It is the nature of Pilates to correctly align the spine and uniformly work each body part creating balanced, efficient, safe patterns of functional movement which leads to a strong core, great posture, and optimal health.
